Literacy services

The Office of Literacy is focused on continuing Ohio's trend of improved student reading achievement, while also concentrating on the many other elements of literacy. Their goal is for all Ohio students to be proficient readers. This goal will be achieved by supporting local literacy education and ensuring that all students receive:

  • high-quality literacy instruction in the classroom;
  • high-quality literacy support through preventions and interventions and;
  • high-quality interaction around literacy outside from school.
